About FauxEver Yours Artist Lori NourseLori Nourse has been an artist for her entire life. Her earliest creative memory includes making animals out of colored pipe cleaners when she was just three years old. A Fine Art major, she apprenticed under another accomplished faux finisher for two years before launching FauxEver Yours in 1998. Lori has studied faux finishing in San Francisco, Denver, Omaha, and Vero Beach, Florida for career-specific trainings, and her work can be seen from Vermont to San Francisco, and Montana to Santa Fe.
Lori learned to throw pottery on a wheel at the Vermont State Craft Center at Frog Hollow as a teenager, and returned to apprentice for two years. She rediscovered pottery years later, after raising her family, while teaching at the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City, Nevada. She has since confiscated the garage of her house to set up her own pottery studio and now teaches small clay workshops there. Find out more about Lori's pottery at www.gLORIouscustompottery.com |

"Lori is a fabulous artist. I asked her to create a garden on the stucco wall surrounding a water fountain. Stucco is not easy, but I wanted color and local fauna. She did a fabulous job and everyone thinks it's real at first glance. In the winter when everyone else's gardens are hiding until Spring, mine is in full bloom. A Sancutary of Color. Thank you Lori!"
